These blueprints were on a shelf in the same room we found the asbestos books.
We are guessing they are prints of the facility showing areas of the problems there.

Hello Iva,
I really admire your images. I ran across them while searching for pictures of the Kansas stat hospital. I am really interested in the blueprints. are those accessible for you? I collect old blueprints and always on the lookout for them. What would be your asking price if you can retrieve these? I assume they are like trash in an abandoned building, is this correct. I will gladly pay you for your troubles?

thanks cdr1,,,well, first of all, we went in and I snapped off a bunch of images then hurried up to get back outside. Then, we got brave enough to go back with the tripod. This was probably one from the second trip in. We just didn't want to get in trouble for being there.

I like the quality of the light in this image. Even though it was a slow exposure, the image is sharp -- unlike some of the others in this series. Did you use a tripod?
