Hi Andrew, thanks for the comments. I appreciate you taking the time to view some of my photos. The model (Bree) in the tunnel, I used one off camera flash with a shoot through umbrella. I positioned her into the tunnel where she was still getting exposed with a little ambient lighting and I tried to get a good mixture of flash and natural lighting, which is how I normally shoot on location. I almost fell over trying to show her that pose! (lol)

Good morning Mr Andrew B,

My name is Rita Lutalo and I work for RIPA Land & Property Agents.
I would like to thank you for your interest in my country, Uganda and for the images you took, reflecting a true account of my country. Due to its nature, I would like to encourage individuals and businesses to invest into the country and help increase employment and thus rise the standards of the people who live there as well as its visitors.

I am currently in the process of creating a website giving more information about the country, its benefits and potientials and it is to this effect that I would kindly ask whether it is possible to use some of your images to help promote the country. The website is still in working progress, www.ripa.350.com.

Your assistance will be highly appreciated.

Yours sincerely

Rita Lutalo

Hi Andrew,
Loved your Madagascar photos, you know you should really make an album in this site, www.trekinu.com .

like this presentation,
http://www.trekinu.com/viewtrek.aspx?trkid=npxuay98gss7yk8
its free and you can share with us the places you traveled to on the map. takes 3-4 minutes...
(this is NOT a site to replace Pbase, it's for sharing albums with music and send to friends and share here with your photos)

Two-thumbs up!
Guest 22-May-2008 07:08
Hi Andrew,

I came across your work after scrolling Pbase. I do it almost every day. What I like most about your work is the eye for people. What makes them interesting, how do I catch the element that makes this woman, man or child special? You seem to have that talent.
Me I had a Nikon yes ;) It was a Nikon D50 with a Sigma 24-60mm, a nikon 50mm 2.0 and a 70-300mm. I was pretty happy with my gear but I felt there was more in photography than staying with my Nikon so I made a switch which hurt my wallet :)
My last serie of photos are made in Crete. Hads a short holiday over there and was able to use my new gear to the full. Hope you like it.

Hi Andrew, thanks for letting me know your website details. (I introduced myself yesterday at the Australia Day parade in Alex. Gardens) These pictures are incredible - just quintessentially Melbourne and full of the magnificent essence of Aussie life/light/sun etc. Fantastic work!
I'm a classical musician/composer and am always interested in making new contacts in photography. I'm thinking of creating a new piece of music using Aussie images in a performance-art piece. Let me know if you'd be interested? My details are at:
http://www.amcoz.com.au/composers/composer.asp?id=4802
Good luck for your ongoing work and keep capturing Australia!
Cheers,
Natalie

Had a great time browsing your galleries today. Particularly like your observational stuff, humans in their environment, doing human funny things etc. Street stuff takes guts sometimes and you've done a great job getting in there and documenting some funny moments....keep it up.
