Miami Lakes, FL (approach to Opa-locka Airport)

S/n 1920, built in 1937. This beauty came over my home one night and fortunately I heard it on time to get a few shots as they lumbered by. They were in town to perform at the 2006 Air & Sea Show at Ft. Lauderdale beach.

When I was a Kid about 1945 My Mom and I flew out of Tucson on one of these Birds and again in 1948 we flew from Puerto Rico to Panama on a military DC 3. My Dad was the pilot...Jake
