Tumbleweed

Came across this along the side of the trail when I was walking this afternoon.
It's unusual to see Tumbleweeds in the city. This one had to cross a few major roads to get here.

A great looking tumbleweed...and nice to hear Roy and the Sons of the Pioneers, memories of childhood.

The detail and complexity of this finally gets my attention, I experienced them piling on my fence when I first came to Kansas. You recorded a fine example, Walter. En masse they are not easy to dispose of"VV"

Tumbleweeds seem symbolic of the old west, which your song link exemplifies! Very cool shot. V

what an intricate tangle....it looks so wild contrasted with clean cut Roy..

Don't you wonder where it came from! Neat shot. Like Don, when we got a TV, I loved Roy Rogers, and I planned to grow up to be a cowgirl like Dale Evans. :-)

Cool pic and thanks for the song. I was about six or seven when we first got a TV. My favorite show was Roy Rogers.
