This is a 10.3 inch wide element from a large Kodak Ektar lens.
It is composed of a good portion of thorium oxide in the glass
this oxide was a precursor to modern ED glass in that it changed
the dispersive properties of the glass.
The reading on the Geiger counter is 0.1 mRems per hour.
