Thanks for visiting.Pbase is great .Glad I found it.Yes Montauk is a great place and the fishing was no dissapointment.Bagged a number of 20 lb + strippers.great fight.followed by a round of golf at montauk downs the next day (played lousy).Fished a year later out of Norwalk Ct harbour ,Incredible ! Caught a stripper on light tackle (same size) but altogether different experience.Really took some degree of skill, captain seemed much more happy after fish was boated.
