I always considered bicycles as living creatures...
When I see them waiting for their master I almost feel their feelings.
Am I the only one who has this symptom?

You should go to Amsterdam and see the "City of Forgotten Bicycles" as I call the train station there. There is literally a massive multi-level garage FULL of bicycles in every state of repair. And all over the city there are remarkably decorated bikes which is the habit of the locals to make their bike so obvious as to deter theives. Also, there is a specific bridge called (in English of course) "The Bike Bridge" where it is commonly known one can go to buy stolen bikes from theives. Last time I was there, when I happened by I noticed dozens of policeman on the prowl however, so maybe this spot has relocated, but I'm SURE the practice continues. Lastly, this is a lovely theme for a gallery with poignant images. Thanks for posting. GMV KHT

Great idea ! I like cycling, I have understood recently my bicycles are my friends. So, as for any other friends, I begin from time to time to take portrait of them. I COMPLETELY agree that bicycles are living creatures. I have two and they constantly fight for my attention. I hate hurting their feelings by choosing one over the other for a ride. This is a terrific gallery!

What could I say ? Nobody can understand you better than me. Bicycles are like characters for me, I have dedicated a gallery to them too and I keep on adding new “characters” to the story. But I’m not here to promote anything. I adore this gallery of yours, there is your trade mark, your style and it’s nearly possible to hear your bicycles speaking with Greek accent!
