These appear to be jalebis I had in India.

Wikipedia says these go by many regional names, including, but apparently not limited to, jilapi, zelepi, jilebi, jilipi, jelabi, zeelabi zulbia, jerry, mushabak, z’labia, zengoula, zalabia, jelabee, jerry, mushabak, zalabia, pani walalu.
