I am not by nature a visual person. I have to force myself to see photographically. My photographs are simply a reflection of what grabs my visual attention, I don’t seem consciously to have a grand plan, but I am unconsciously drawn to the same themes... Fortunately, the natural world in all its evolutionary beauty surrounds me, and I am awed by the complexity of a branching tree, the eastern Canadian landscape in the fall and winter, stark naked trees against a soft or steely sky; and more recently, fragments and reflections of urban landscapes, and unusual juxtapositions.
