Brian,
I am in the process of making the membershipcard for 2011 for the PARCS RC club. For that reason I would like your permission for using a photo you made during the 2008 Giant Scale fly-in of the WACO (_BCH4926w.jpg)
My e-mail address is frankentonm@gmail.com
Thank you for considering my request.

Hi Brian,

I read your writeup on the recumbent bike. What grabbed my attention was how you mounted the JBL On Tour speakers to the bike. Can you tell me how you made the mount?

Thanks,

Colin

Two months ago, I bought a Burley Jett Creek, and I also like it very much. I'm going to ride mine across the US in May 2009, mostly on the Adventure Cycling Trans America trail. The only difference I noticed is that my bike has a Mueller HPV windshield. I've built a bike trailer, which attaches to my kick stand bracket. My only other need is fenders to keep road water from soaking me during and after rain. I noticed in your pictures that your Jett Creek has fenders, but I didn't see any info about where to buy them and how to install them. I'd appreciate any advice. How is your bike doing now?

Brian,

I saw your truck listed on this forum- its bad ass. I think I will utilize your plans for the sub box for my 07 crew cab. Im just not clear on one of the dimension (for the front panel). you have 2 different dimensions (11.4818 and 10.75) Can you kindly clarify what the dimensions are for the front panel? Thank you in advance.

Go a few miles to County rd 51, at stop sign turn left, go about 1/2 mile you will see the start of a guard rail, thats the road in. tThe field is on your right, you should see cars from the road. See you there. Nick Ziroli

Hi Brian -

Can you please give me an update on your Redhawk/Bradley 32" mower? I have been looking at this model for some time now. You seem to be the only one that has posted any information on it. I have a local dealer that is finally getting some in, so any feedback would be appreciated. I'm also considering the 36" model. I have a decent size yard, but don't want to store a really large mower.

Thanks, Tim

Brian,

I really enjoy spending time on your site. I appreciate that you post your exif info (great learning tool). I also use Konica Minolta equipment. I have a KM 7D, KM A2, KM 7000 and a KM 3000. I am thinking about buying another KM 7D - maybe a 5D for "wide angle". I do have a question about your Giottos tripod - you mentione in one of the forums that you paid $138 (I think). Do you mind telling me where? Keep shootin' - I'll be back. Vern (vclocke@aol.com).

Brian,

I love your truck, I'm looking in to the same kind , but a 2002 with 135,000. My question is what do you think about miles on the truck. I'm not to sure, they want 11,000 and kelly blue book says it should be going for 16,500. I just don't want to buy problems, if you know what I mean.

Best Regards Jon

Not sure Jeff however I am VERY happy with the K&N FIPK II.
Guest 09-May-2006 15:43
Brian,

I was wondering if they made a performance intake manifold for the 2000 nissan frontier.

Jeff
Brian Chang06-May-2006 14:27
Jeff, I have heard of good things from the Gibson exhaust. Nice sound and good performance. They make one for your truck. As for Spencer Low, I would call them....rumer has it that they may stop making headers for our trucks so time may not be on your side. For more info, search www.nissanfrontier.net and you can see other people who have these mods :)
Brian
Guest 06-May-2006 11:41
I looked on the Spencer Low Racing website and saw asome headers but it said they were for the VG33H motor and of course mine is the VG33E motor is that an actually motor or just a typo and will those work for my truck.
Guest 06-May-2006 11:36
What is a good exhaust for me to add on? I thought about flowmaster but what would you recommend.

Jeff
Brian Chang06-May-2006 03:56
Adam: I do not remember the brand name of my HID kit (It is over 2 years old) but instalation was very easy. The bulb mounts just like stock and the transformer is pretty small and easily mounted. My kit plugged directly into the stock harnes...no wiring skills needed. As for performance, I will never drive a vehicle without them!

Jeff: Big-B? Putting a Super charger or a turbo on your 2000 Fronty is NOT cost effective...at all! This question comes up all the time on www.nissanfrontier.net and without fail, the owner ends up selling his truck and buying a SC version. Other than the mods you are getting, add a good exhaust! (You are getting air in but choking it on the output!) As for headers, look into a company called Spencer Low Racing.
Guest 06-May-2006 03:49
I meant header.
Guest 06-May-2006 03:21
Also is there a performance heaser that i can put on my truck?

Jeff
Guest 06-May-2006 01:52
HI Brian,

My name is Jeff,I am a friend of Big-B, and i was wondering if i would be able to put a supercharger or possibly a turbo-charger on to my 2000 Frontier Desert Runner. Or maybe you eould know what i could do in order to beef up my engine and horsepower, besides throttle body spacer and an intake because i am already going to do those.
Guest 04-May-2006 03:41
I am interested in putting HID on my Xterra. What kit did you use and what is your impressions of them so far. How hard was install? Thanks.

Adam
Brian Chang20-Apr-2006 14:27
Hi Marc,
I have never had my truck on a dyno...it does pull much harder than stock ;)
As for the guages, they come out real easy. Pull dasy besel, remove like 4 screws, unjplug harnesses, unclip clear plastic lens and you are in. You may have to use somethink sticky to put between the overlay and the guage to hold it tight and flat.

Hope that helps...
Marc AKA {B-Big} 19-Apr-2006 23:26
Hey Brian (Help)
I have one more question. I have the same Halo gauges you have and lately the
needle been sticking at around 50 mph. Once I slow down or speed up to 60 to 65 mph it loosens itself (the needles). How do you remove the dash cover to reach the
gauges and two how would you fix it without damageing the needles.
Marc AKA {B-Big} 19-Apr-2006 22:29
Hey Brian
Thanks for all your help, I was wondering have you had your truck
dyno tested. Because with all of your upgrades you have got to
be at 300 HP by now. I pretty much have the same setup you have minus the
headers and new pulley and 300 HP has always been my goal. Thanks again for
your help. B-Big....

Hey Brian,

Some of us left Abby's last August. I don't know how you got left behind but we only contacted people by email that had contacted us by email. We did not want to use the access we had as moderators to get email addresses. I could not find yours here at pbase so I am contacting you this way, I hope that's OK. We had a good time with the last storm and there are some nice pics and videos. Please stop by and take a look. I got my 2.3 pulley already mounted on a supercharger from one of the members of www.nissanfrontier.net (TUNFS) As for a chip upgrade...only thing I know of is what they sell on e-bay...and it is JUNK!
Marc B AkA {Big B} 07-Feb-2006 22:43
One more thing Brian have you heard anything good about the performance chip upgrade Mods that you can get for the frontier. Or do you know someone who has them and noticed any big difference.
Marc B AkA {Big B} 07-Feb-2006 22:38
Hey Brian
I've been looking for a 2.3 pulley for my frontier but the only thing I found
was a 2.4 pulley. Where did you get yours.
Brian Chang01-Feb-2006 22:45
Hi Marc,
I am not sure what you can get in there...mine are factory with an aftermarket PIAA bulb. Make a post on www.frontier.net. I am sure someone there will have an answer for you quick!

I hit the motherlode... I have had the hardest time finding anything about Frontier mods, and now I see that I'm not alone in what I'd like to do to it. I'm just behind in starting. Your truck looks kick ass and I'll be doing some of these mods to mine this summer. I was wondering what you did with the stock 5 spoke wheels though. Mine came with the 4 spoke ugly wheels and I haven't seen the 5 spoke factory wheels on ebay.
jake 13-Jun-2005 16:37

Hey Brian, good looking truck. what did you do with the stock fosgate stereo? I would be interested in buying it from you.
Brian Chang17-May-2005 12:05
I had to space out the seat after those huge grills went on!
Nathan 17-May-2005 04:24
Hey brian, Let me ask you something real quick. When you made that custom box for those 3 8" subs. Did you have to space your seat out before you put in the grill for the subs or did u just space them out b/c of those grills? Email me at nwatts12984@comcast.net if you would please and let me know. Becuase i just got a frontier and its driving me nuts with no good sound.
Thanks,
Nathan

Hi Ricky,
What Nissan do you have? I have a few...the Sentra, the Frontier, and the Xterra. The only one I have box demensions for is the Frontier...check the Frontier photo album for a detailed spec sheet of the box. If you do not understand it, print it and give it to the person who is going to make the box for you.
Guest 14-Dec-2004 06:25
