Hey buddy I had a question about your sub boxes, I have a 2001 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab and there is no where to put the boxes, I know yours is an 03 but i'm not sure if the measurements are the same?

First off, let me tell you that there is just no room inside this cabin! You will have to get creative! Here is what I did:

Head unit is a Alpine CDA-9815.http://www.crutchfield.com/S-EC0hqMNPYBI/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?i=500CDA9815 I ISO mounted it with a pocket below using the factory brackets. I removed the factory Rockford amp and it freed up a lot of room under the radio! I also connected the Alpine XM tuner and Terk XM antenna. The XM tuner is mounted on the front passenger floor going up towards the fire wall. There is a thick rubber mat backed by a 1" piece of foam, I just cut out a square and the tuner mounted nice and flush. The Terk XM antenna is mounted above the third brake light. I retained the factory steering wheel controls with Peripheral's PESWIX steering wheel interface. I mounted the IR transmitter to the center console in front of the arm rest. Works perfect!http://peripheralelectronics.com/2002/steering.asp

Next in line is the amplifiers. I mounted a JBL/Crown amp under each front seat. The PX300.4 is 75 watts RMS x4 and plays the fronts and rears.http://www.jbl.com/car/products/product_detail.aspx?prod=PX300.4&ser=POS&cat=AMP The BPX1100.1,http://www.jbl.com/car/products/product_detail.aspx?prod=BPX1100.1&ser=POS&cat=AMP 1,100 watts RMS, plays the subs. Each amp is on its own 4 gauge wire fed from a Tusumi topped Optima red top battery. To mount the amps required me to remove the silver trim from the amps, remove the felt padding under the carpet, and to raise the rear of the seat 1/2 of an inch. I still have 90% of my forward movement on the seats. Other than that, you can not tell the seat is moved. Stinger RCA's and PIE cables were used throughout.

Front speakers are JBL 608GTI
http://www.jbl.com/car/products/product_detail.aspx?prod=C608GTI&ser=GTI&cat=COS and P552http://www.jbl.com/car/products/product_detail.aspx?prod=P552&ser=POS&cat=MEL . There are all mounted in factory locations. The front crossovers are mounted below the radio where the factory amp once was. The rear crossovers are mounted in the doors.

Next I made a custom sub box. It is 48" wide, 7" on the bottom, 4" on top and is 1 cu ft. The whole box is made out of 3/4 MDF except for the back, it is 5/8 to allow more depth for the woofers and is braced very well. For subs, I went with three of Kicker's top of the line 8", the S8L7. They require .33 cu ft each. .33 x 3 = .99;) These woofers hit very hard and very low. I am very impressed with the sound quality of these. Much more than I was expecting!
The entire interior was covered in Dynamat. Three layers in all of the doors, 1 layer on the entire floor and up the firewall as far as I could reach.

Sound quality is what I was after and I have a truely great sounding system...my center stage is just in front of where the glass meets the hood and and is vey wide.

I work at Circuit City doing Installs I havent worked on any frontiers how much room is under the seat (assuming that is where you mounted the amps) and are you running a 4channel also. one other question, how many ohms are your speakers running at? thanks
