The Arizona Inn opened its doors on December 18, 1930. The Inn has been family owned and operated since it was built by Isabella Greenway, Arizona's first and only Congresswoman and close friend of Eleanor Roosevelt. Mrs. Greenway built the Inn to help disabled WWI vets preserve their jobs in her furniture factory, "The Arizona Hut."
Nestled in a neighborhood on 14 acres, it's one of only 3 such resorts still operating in Tucson.
On the National Register of Historic Places.
