Becky,

Thanks so much for your comments on my gallery. Greatly appreciated! You're definitely right that I do have rather a tendency to make my shots a little dark! Will work on that... Love your galleries by the way... will leave some comments when I get a chance!

Dave

P.S. you were almost right, it's just a normal red tulip I think!

Hi Becky,
I appreciate all your kind comments and votes on my galleries, especially on my IRAN gallery. Your work style is spectacular and I admire it; please keep it up.
By the way, I had very good memories in historic city of York and your profile page reminded me them.
Cheers,
Ali

Hey Becky, thanks for the kind words!

I was looking through your photos, and the one titled "Looking Down Firth Street", really, really caught my eye. I hope to get a shot like that sometime soon (and hopefully it will come out half as good!)

Thanks,

-Josh

Hi Becky, Thankyou for having a look! India was great fun and very interesting!
A forum you would find useful for learning (I do! Its very frustrating to find on returning from a holiday that I'd left the ISO on 3200 -aargh!)is at www.dpreview.com. All sorts of reallt good stuff. To post photos there you need to join pbase or another - pbase costs nuts really and is noncommercial which I like!
Dont get too hooked on technicalities and dont necessarily go for using RAW until you're happy with the camera and manipulating images. One jump at a time - I still havent gone to RAW as I dont have the time to process them!
Whatever - enjoy!
Regards from a rainy Scotland (just think of the next holiday.....!)
