To Whom It May Concern:

I am a naturalist with MetroParks of Columbus and Franklin County in Columbus Ohio in the USA. I'm on a committee designing displays for our Batelle-Darby Creek Nature Center's butterfly garden. I located, through Google Images, a couple of photos, that are EXACTLY the images I'd like to use on our display. I see that your photos are copyrighted, and wish to ask if/how we might obtain a digital file of that image to include on our exhibit. I can send the rough plan for the exhibit so you can see how we'd use it.

Thanks for your consideration of our request.

I very much enjoy your work and galleries. I missed the January meeting on butterfly gardening and had intended to ask you about Pentas there. I am looking for the old fashioned, tall, red variety, and you indicated that you may know where to find them. Any ideas? Butterflies like them so much better than the ones in the nurseries.

I enjoyed your talk at our Green Country Water Garden Society on the 10th of this month. Thank you for taking the time to show us what you do and all the beautiful slides.

Hi Sandy!!! I've lost your phone # and live so far away from the farmer's market now. I miss visiting with you. THe photos of Libby are so cute! I found some large cats today in a birch tree. I think they are moths, but not sure what kind. They are white with brown and green strips down their sides...very pretty. So many of the lovely plants that you gave me last year are growing like crazy at the new house...every time I see them I think of you. Hope you are well. Have a wonderful day! Sandy - your photos are amazing - so crisp and colorful. I am on the butterfly list serve...and so checked out your photos. Tell me sometime how you ended up in Laos. I was a Peace Corps volunteer years ago in Tanzania, and have now been in Oklahoma for 20 years! --Melissa Shackford

Your butterfly photos are fascinating. Though I love to photograph butterflies, I don't know much about them, and therefore have been reluctant to name them as some look so similar. This is something I will have to work on. Thanks for your nice comment...

Thank you for viewing my galleries and leaving such nice comments. I feel the same: it's very easy to fall in love with Southeast Asia.
