Did you know that all the Starlings you see today across America descended from 100 birds that were released in New York City??? They were able to become one of America's most common birds because they are very aggressive. They pillage and plunder, driving other birds from the feeders (indeed, even driving some birds from their natural habitats). I guess you can tell that I am not fond of them?
Thanks for browsing my gallery.
While I am not too keen on their aggressive behavior, they are sharp looking birds. Besides, it's just in their nature to be like that. :)
Nice to see starlings featured, most people are not so keen on them.
We get them here in Northern Ontario in the summer. They are gutsy little birds, they are about the only ones who remain feeding on the ground when crows and Ravens come in to feed.
