I've been using Nikon since I was in Nam - 1966-67. I started with a Nikon F Photomic TN, after that was stolen I went to an F2 which I still have, with a good assortment of manual focus lenses. Then I got the F100, love it for a film camera but since I entered digital with the D100 I've been using that almost all the time. I just love this age of auto-focus and electronics. This digital thing is a whole new learning curve from being in the darkroom back in the 60's. Once I get a Nikon film scanner I'll scan all my Viet Nam slides and post a gallery of Nam in the 60's.
I've just acquired the D300 recently and I'm amazed at the advancements compared to the D100. I can't wait till I get out and do some real shooting with it.
