New York Palace Hotel

The statues and other ornaments on the front side of the building, as well as the ground floor café's 16 imposing devilish fauns,
each one beside the café's sixteen windows, are the works of Károly Senyey.

Generally I do not care for buildings that are falling over backwards or converging verticals unless for effect. But when you can cause a building to fall backwards and forwards at the same time that it is converging this creates un peu de je ne sais quoi.
