or I "got" a Hippopotamus for Christmas
from Hubby on our second Christmas

The Hippo was bought to be a low "day bed" for my beloved Pug Dog.
For the next 15 years, our Pug loved and constantly used the hippo to sit and sleep on in the family room. At night, of course, he slept in our bed with us. I have many film photos of our Pug on "his" hippo over the years. Precious memories. That was all before digital photography.

This Hippo has been in our family room (old house/new house) ever since that Christmas long ago.
