Unfortunately, the pink one in the above link is not going to bloom this May.

The red one (posted yesterday) : http://www.pbase.com/britestar/image/167464037 only produced two blooms this time around. They are already fast fading. If you look closely (and compare it to my other Amaryllis photos), you will see that the red flower had abnormal reproductive parts. Even with it being a bit odd, the flower was still pretty.

Not yet fully open, the Amaryllis in my photo today was the star of the January 2015 gallery: "The Story of One Amaryllis". Each time that one of her blooms opens, it's always a new adventure.
