Sites off the usual Tourist Track in Xi'an, China

In the few remaining weeks we will be in China, we will be visiting some of the more obscure historical sites around Xi'an. This gallery will show a few of the results of our finds.
Two are presently featured: The Xiangji Buddhist temple from 670 AD, and the Tang Dynasty home of Wang Bao-Chuan and Xue Ping-Gui, unique as the only "yao dong" palace in Xi'an, yao dongs are cave dwellings, this one is built into a culvert only 5 km outside the city wall of Xi'an.
