This is an excellent "old timer" compact. I always shoot in RAW with this camera and decrease the blue saturation and the sharpness in the conversion.
Very pleasing results for travelling light and hardly to distinguish from a DSLR in good light conditions and landscapes photography.

I purchased the Canon G6 a few monthas ago and have since taken quite a few shotss with it. My photos aren't as good as Richard's, but you can see them athttp://www.pbase.com/ronsc
