an oldie but a good one, will not work on any ETTL II cameras film or digital.

so digital wise you're restricted to the original 1D(?), D30 & D60, doesn't work on anything later (10D onwards)

film wise it doesn't work on the Elan 7/30/33 and I think the last round of 1v's?

Can no longer be re chipped to support new bodies.

On incompatible camera bodies it will take the picture at wide open (will not stop down to what ever aperture was selected by you or the camera) then display an error 99 locking up the camera - you need t power down then power up your camera to proceed.
