This is a really nice model of a tractor which was first built in 1910 near Sacramento. The guy's wife was named "Clair", so that's what they call this model. It has been constructed, using the Fairbanks Morse model "N" engine, scaled down from a 25 hp. The castings for the engine (not the tractor) are sold by Tom Stuart. You will see several Fairbanks Morse model "N" engines in these photos.
