Integration And Segregation

Grazing animals tend to hang around in large herds and have no problem being in the presence of other grazing species. These animals such as the wildebeest or gnu in the background, and hartebest in the foreground of my image, share the same feeding grounds and face the same predators. But it seems that they are still happier to stick with their own kind in this large communal feeding ground.

You use grass and selective focus to create an abstracted hornscape here -- two different species sharing the same ground but in entirely different ways.
