Cesar- Thanks for sharing your pictures! I came across your website today as I was reminiscing about San Juan Del Sur... They brought me back there immediately. I lost all of my pictures of my travels so it is really nice to have some available to me, although I didn't take them. Keep up the good work!!

Hi Cesar, I'm doing a PowerPoint presentation on the Philippines for class and I came across your website. The old of aboriginal filipinos are great! I was born in Mindanao in 1971 and came to the States when I was 6. I live in the south-western corner of N.Y. state right now. I'm very fascinated about where I came from and how our ethnic background had been formed. Thanks for sharing your pictures! My e-mail is cmhuegelchris@yahoo.com if you or anyone wants to chat about the Philippines or anything else. Christin

Cesar, came across your photo of Emma with the KU stuffed amimals. What a shock! My wife and I graduated from KU in 1992 and still continue to be huge KU fans and the kids know it. The funny thing though is that we have have an almost 5 year old Emma who looks alot like your Emma. I was confused and questioned us ever having those KU props. Take a look at the attached link and let me know what you think. Although not a perfect match, we have many photographs that match your little girl perfectly.

Hi Cesar,

Came across your site by accident. You take wonderful pictures. I also love thos old Philippine photos. I wonder if I may have your permission to feature one on my site and write something about your site. I'm sure lots of Filipinos will enjoy them.

I was born in Manila but lived more than 30 years in New York, and I'm back here in Manila again.

This is my blogsite:http://www.senorenrique.blogspot.com/

Thanks!

Cesar, The pictures I just looked at are wonderful. You pick good topics that tell a wonderful story of each subject. I hate to ask for I know you are very busy but can you find the time to work on my picture? Your gallery is very impressive. Hope to see you soon. Sharon

First well done. I echo oe of the previous comments that the volunteer work you chronicle is well deserved and appreciated. Your photos of Nicarauga certainly show a slice of life beyond the usual visitor haunts. Keep up the good work and aloha to you and your compatriots.

I used the Canon Lens Normal EF 50mm f/1.8 II which is great for low light. The museum allowed the use of a flash. I decided not use a flash since it damages the picture. I read somewhere that the light from a flash on a painting is equivalent three day's exposure of sunlight. I don't know how true that is, but I do want these masterpieces to be around for a long time. Sadly, other people were using flash on the paintings. -Cesar

Nice work throughout. How were you able to get such great photos in the museum?
