Some great photos Charlie. You've "wasted" a lot of time! How did you have time to work and take Lympstone band for all those years? Keep it up. I've enjoyed looking at your photos. Trouble is it makes me want to go out and spend big on the lense front. Regards Tony Knowles (I'm the bandie you were talking to at Go Outdoors the other evening)

Hello Charlie, I'm surprised I haven't seen you on PBase before however there are a lot of folks on here. I picked up on the Dipper pic because I had seen and commented ( I think) about it on Birdguides earlier today.
I had a read of your blog too that was very interesting, loved the Dipper tales, they brought back some memories of my attempts last year, well done though, great shots. My attempts last year were cut short when some fishermen decided to destroy my Dipper hide :(
Wonderful galleries and photo's on PBase and good luck in the future on Birdguides.
Kind regards,
Dave Barnes.

Hi Charlie,
Found your incredible collection of bird photos when I googled Pego Marsh which I visited last week while staying with my parents at Orba nearby, enjoyed your trip details, apart from the end! I will be going back march/April time and will visit some of the other places you mentioned!
Thank you

Hi Charlie, took your advice and searched for your photos. Great pictures much better than wildlife books, particularly the action shots. Keep up the good work and always stay out of the yellow zone!! Up the Rams, Jean and Tony , Derby.

Hi Charlie,

Great photos! I took a look after reading the article in Excite magazine. I enjoy nature photography myself but my results aren't half as good as yours. I'd be interested to know what equipment you use.

Best wishes,
