Thanks Traveller. It's my favorite lens and spends quite a bit of time on my camera while travelling & hiking. Great for the occasional odd perspective and obviously great for sweeping landscapes.
It's funny about the Sigma 8-16 as I occasionally reply to questions about "which lens should I get for . . ." with a suggestion to consider the 8-16 and am routinely ignored. Does it have a bad reputation that I don't know about?
FYI: I accidentally used the wrong nickname before for "artist". It's me, Sum-Won/Peter. As for anything else, I'm thinking about what else I've got that would fit the theme.
This is fabulous...and that Sigma lens is really clean....I am surprised that f8 was sufficient to give you such good Depth of Field....enough but not too much either. Well seen and interesting...thanks for posting this. Have you got anything else?...(grin)Traveller
