As I understood his story, all this gear and hardware was brought in by a filming company. They built a 30 ft shaft into the side of the mountain/hill. After they were done filming, they left the stuff where it currently sits. No real mine here - though there are some in the mountains around Benson.
This guy has just about everything under the sun available on his property and appears to be well placed and thought out. I'm making an assumption, it appears as tho there is a vertical mine shaft behind the cart and they would pull up bucks of ore using the manual winch then fill the cart and off it would go for processing.
