Interesting. I had a bonfire with come old copper wire from a shed that collapsed. Never thought to look for colors but I may have seen some green coloring but didn't think about it being the copper wiring. :) ~Phydoux
Love colorful fires. I remember as a young electrician wiring new homes in the dead of winter we would put wood scraps in a 5 gallon paint bucket and burn it for heat. For amusement we would toss bare copper wire scraps on the flames and it would burn green. Aw the good old days. I don't miss them for even a second. Paul
