Right Place ... Right Time ... Wrong Camera

While sitting at the kitchen table I spotted Clancy peeking at me between the ketchup bottle and a green tea drink. I shot it with my iPhone, but conditions were not good. Would have been much better if I had used a "real" camera. Unfortunately, the moment would have been lost had I taken the time to go get one.

Yes, Dave, Clancy is one of four Cavalier King Charles dogs my brother and sister-in-law have. I often puppy sit them when their owners are on one of their many trips.

Is Clancy a Cavalier King Charles? Our neighbors just said farewell to one of theirs.

Thanks, Paul. I knew about the "touch" focus, but not about adjusting the exposure by sliding your finger on the screen! I mostly use the iPhone camera as a "note taker" and rarely use it for serious stuff. But I learned something today!

I use my iphone camera these days more than my DSLR's, sad but true. Being the photographer that you are I assume you already know this about the iphone cameras but someone else reading this might not. When your framing your shot the iphone selects what it thinks should be in focus and it's not always right. In this situation it picked the juice container but, if you touch the screen where you want it to focus to on it will move focus to that point and expose on that spot. You can also adjust the exposure by sliding you finger up and down on the screen. I'm guessing you and most of our viewing audience already knew that. On a side note clancy does not look happy at all! Paul
