We had a storm to the south of us last night. Maybe tonight will provide me with more opportunities for a better shot. Paul

More than once I've almost ordered one and one of these days I will. Every time a lightning storm pops up and I want to go out to the lake for a more wide open area Paula gets nervous and panicky. Right now there is another storm moving in from the west and I hear the thunder so the camera is on the tripod, the remote triggers are on the camera ready to go with the 6d set on B, f8 and iso 100. I'm ready now let's see if Mother Nature provides me with a few opportunities. Paul

I like lightning shots and this is a very good one. If I were in green valley during the monsoon season when there are a lot of lightning shows, I would buy a lightning detector for my camera. Have you thought about such a purchase. You live in a great area for that.
