Flowering Hosta

Apple Valley, MN

I wanted to get more of the colored flowers in the background, but the hosta flower wasn't tall enough.

Those darn hosta leaves will get you every time. Either they're too large and hiding something, yellowed, covered in bird poop, or being munched on by deer. Have I mentioned there are too many deer where I live? Geese, too.

Thanks guys, I was able to align the background flowers with the hosta flower. I was just hoping to get the far background flowers below the last leaf and buds on the hosta. I changed all sorts of angles and position, but because of the very large hosta plant (leaves) in the near background this was the best I could do.

What're you complaining about? The deer are chomping our hosta buds.

Was there an opportunity to change the angle or maybe shoot from a closer position?
