It was my wife's birthday on Friday, so I baked her a chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream frosting. This is a 13 shot focus stack.

A great looking cake. Yes, I agree with Paul that the "typical" photo is with a piece cut out. Dave called it a "menu" shot - I like that phrase. But, typical isn't always the best photograph. Jim

Noooo, for cake photos you have to cut out 1 piece then shoot, either the remaking cake or the cut piece. Looks great, and my wife would like the recipe so she can try it too. Paul
