Glendale is a suburb of Cincinnati located in Hamilton County that was founded in 1851 and is one of
only three National Historic Landmark Districts in Ohio. Glendale was the first planned suburban
community in the state and the first planned railroad commuter town in the country. The city is
laid out in a park setting with grand historic homes that are well preserved. Glendale is located
off I-75 about 5 miles south of I-275, near much of the metro's shopping while still preserving the
quiet upscale feel that was planned out in the 1800's.
