Silvercraft postcards were printed in the 1930s and 40s. A similar Silvercraft postcard for Ali's Restaurant on Horseneck Point was taken between 1940 and 1943, and this image probably dates to around the same time. The houses on the Neck seem to have survived Hurricane Carol in 1954, but were eventually removed by the state when it took control of the Neck.
