Gary, my name is Butch Carpenter and I knew Ray from the Zero Hunting Camp we were both in
and learned a little about the loss of both of his legs in Vietnam. I have been trying to obtain some additional information about Ray and his service as a tracker with the 63rd I.P.C.T. supporting the
23rd Infantry. I received an email from a Terry Cooper who said you would remember Ray also
and help me with this search. I am doing this mainly for Ray’s two children, Phil and Jamie.
They still live near Drew, Mississippi I think on the Williams property.
I would appreciate any and all info. you might share with me. Like the day, month, and year of
the incident, the exact unit he was with, how he lost his legs, etc.
Thank you and God Bless you and yours………….

Ikept searching and found this site and located pictures where you visited Ray's home. God
Bless a man who would take his time and ride that for to visit an old war buddy. I considered Ray a good friend and hunting buddy. I knew his dad, Mr. Bully, and respected both of them. It is truly an honor for me to ask you for any and all infomation you can share with me about Ray. God Bless you and the USA.......

Hi Gary. Thank you for your note.http://www.pbase.com/orangecones and I am glad to hear everything is going to work out in the long run. Family is best and to have a sister near in age is wonderful. You know the caring and love is going to be most important in the growing process. Kids grow up very quickly and before you know it the are adults. God bless you and good luck in the future. Please keep in touch. JLK

Hi Gary,

Thanks for stopping byhttp://www.pbase.com/orangecones and if you get a chance please stop byhttp://www.pbase.com/slotcars for some photos at the track. You seem to have a wonderful gift of perception for getting the correct angle on your photos. Always remember “you get what you see” and often you will get more that what you see.
Keep up the great work. Jeff K

Hello,

Read your comment on the 2100UZ and I agree with your assessment. I borrowed one from a friend yesterday and played all day with it. Any tips on where I can find my own? I have found a few refurbish sites but the customer service reviews are pretty bad. I would like to just get a new one. Help is greatly appreciated.
