Yes, ice was beginning to form when I snapped that image..
That part of the pond is now completely frozen over as a results of our recent cold snap...

The creek he usually hunts for his dinner was frozen over...

Good morning Chris
Question, what did you mean when you said, "your images are getting a bit small"?

Thank you for checking out my Lynnie of the Jungle Gallery by Lucky Cole and the nice comment. Thank you, Lynnie (I know you didn't really want Tarzan in the pics - that's going to be a separate gallery anyway) :)

Hello Chris, thank you very much for your kind comments on my photos and galleries. I have browsed through your own galleries and have enjoyed the tour immensely. You have a very good eye especially for light patterns and shade. Will be paying you more visits in the future. Keep up with this good work of yours. Shmuel.

Hi Chris,
These Elk are wild and have traveled from the upper reaches of the Sapphire Mountains to seek out feed and protection from their enemy, the wolf.

Thanks Chris...
We are hoping for a normal Montana Winter this year. Our past few Winters have had below normal snow fall in the "high country" which we in the lower elevations depend on the needed moisture from the snow melt in the spring.
Guest 29-Nov-2012 16:51
Thanks Chris,
Yes, having grown up on a farm, I remember many cold winter mornings getting up before light to get the cows ready for milking and yes, breaking the ice so they could get a drink. I hated the frost balls on their tails, they would swish them and hit me in the face while I was milking, I believe they did it to annoy me :-)

Yes we have had wild fires burning all summer, some of the big ones well not be put out until the snows come....

Hi Chris, the pucture is of the "moving rocks" at the Racetrack in Death Valley national park. It's a very cool place to photograph. It's the hottest place in the US in the summer.

Hi Chris - Many thanks for your comment on the gallery devoted to my mother's life. I hope you are able to find the time and material to put together something similar for your mother. I would love to see it. I also enjoyed your shots from Israel and from around the U.K. Best, Al

Hello Chris
I was on Juza's site and I came upon one of your posts. Hence I visited your website.
the photography is beautiful and spectacular, I love your work. Seeing your shots really has provided me with an understanding of why, over the milleniums so many people died fighting for that land.
Thank you for posting these, a guy from 'across the pond' really enjoyed them.

Loved the gallery on Colwall. Great shots, and I really felt like I was there, instead of Auckland New Zealand! My wife & I lived & worked at The Elms (as a groundsman!) soon after we were married, in 1978-79. Lovely to take another trip up Evendine Lane! It brought back wonderful memories of the hedgerows, and trees, and hills. Thank you for your superb work, and for making it available 12,000 miles away. I will come back!

I really enjoyed your galleries. The NX2 got my attention. I recently purchaseda Macbook and Aperture2. I am rethinking NX2 after viewing your work and commentary. Thanks for sharing your experiences, both with the softwear and your images.

You have nice travel photos, you know you should really make an album in this site :
www.trekinu.com ...

like this gallery:
http://www.trekinu.com/viewtrek.aspx?trkid=mquiko5rgn2bbjt

its free and you can share with us the places you traveled to on the map. takes 3-4 minutes...
(this is NOT a site to replace PBASE, it's for sharing albums with music and send to friends and share here with your photos)

Hello Chris,
Greatly appreciate your photographs of the Malvern Hills area. I have lived near Hollybush on the other side of Chase End Hill and Ragged Stone Hill for past 3 years and have been trying to get photos as good as yours. Well done!

Recently my friend bought a print of a fish named Autumn Beauty with Chris Morton under the picture. She wishes to give this print to her son. Is this a print of a painting by you? Thank you. Marie Spence

Hi,

These photos are another part of the world where I have never been to but really like the atmosphere. My only wish is to make people feel the photos, the sadness, happiness, humour, hope,...and many of yours can do this. Keep up making the gallery.

Regards,
Ayuwat Jearwattanakanok
