Gulf of Corryvreckan

Aird, Craignish

between Jura (left) and Scarba (right) which has notorious whirlpools at change of tides; George Orwell capsized and was left marooned on a small Island there in 1947. (see aslo note added to 'Paps of Jura' pic.) The 'wall' in the foreground looks as if it could be manmade, but is natural
