Wow, that's a beauty too! (Harvest Moon). The rough cut travertine and white painted railings in the Feets-shot plus the fact I've seen other shots of yours from the Getty, made me guess where this was shot. Can you tell I've been there? The funny thing is, I don't care that much for Richard Meier's architecture - if you've seen one you've seen'em all - with one brilliant exception - the Getty! I think largely due to the heavy use of travertine, this structure is different from all other Richard Meier architecture - a masterpiece really. --Olaf.dk

Clarification - "Feets" was taken waiting for the moonrise below. - Paul

Hi Roberta and Olaf, thanks, I always appreciate your comments. Yes, this is also at the Getty museum in Los Angeles, one of my favorite places at which to photograph. I've been trying to "see" more there than just the architecture, gardens and the view so have branched. This was taken early evening while waiting for the rise of the full harvest moon:

I wish I had taken this! Another one from the Getty? I agree with previous comments and would simply like to add: nice light too! --Olaf.dk

Paul,
Excellent shot. Love the feet in a variety of positions and the reflection is an added bonus.

Lonnit, Lee, thanks for your comments. I just loved watching these 4 people as they sat down and then got "comfy." I shot off 5-6 frames as the scene developed.

Iso - thanks also and hope I can enter something in Eligible, too!

Paul

There's more to this than first meets the eye! There's the reflection, of course, which is pretty obvious, but the when you start looking at the feet, they're all doing thier own thing - I like the empty shoes on the ground, and then the one-shoe-off-one-shoe-on woman at the end, who has even placed her shoe on the bench. Good catch. :) ~ Lonnit
