Greetings from Canada! Does anyone know where I can find the storyboard Booth cartoon of the gentleman who wakes up and gets ready for work with many arrows around his head, then pauses in the doorway with one arrow pointing backwards, and finally ends up back in bed? I can't find the book where the cartoon appeared, and it has begun to haunt my dreams. Can anyone help, please? Many, many thanks!

Does anybody remember the "Hoppy dod, hoppy dod, hoppy dod" wacky dog cartoon? I can almost see it in my mind and it's making me crazy!

George Booth had the bed next to me in the barracks at Headquarters Marine Corps, Washington DC in 1051. There was going to be a clothing inspection(you lay out all of your clothing on your bed in a very organized manner and an inspection officer comes by to check the layout). That morning, George dumped all of his clothes (they were clean but unpressed) on his bed and went to take a shower. It was getting late when George returned so he put on his uniform and stood at attention in front of his bed with all of his clothes in a pile on his bed. The inspection officer approached George and could only ask "where is your clothing layout", or something like that, and George pointed to the pile and said "that's it sir". The officer struggled to keep from laughing and just said "put him on report'. That was only one of the many funny things that was always a part of the day when George Booth was around.

I was ecstatic in 1998 when George Booth came to the Toy Fair building to go through the Ohio Art gallery the year a product I designed (Betty Spaghetty), was introduced.
He went to dinner with my sister Marlene and I, and told us so many stories about his cartoons. He said he and his wife were wondering what their baby daughter's first words would be...and she said "Harry"..the name of their cat! In person he is as fun as his artwork. Elonne Dantzer

isn't there one where a dog and a man are in an airport and the dog is dressed up in clothes so he doesn't have to go in the storage compartment and the tag line is "so stand up straight and stop licking your nose"? Where can I find that?

I bumped into an unsigned cartoon on the Internet that sure looks like a Booth cartoon, and I'd like to confirm that. It's a picture of a crummy apartment, hausfrau with 7 kids and a husband playing the ukulele. She says: "When I think of the men I could have married if it weren't for you and that damn ukulele." I wrote a song based on that, and, if lightning ever struck, would like to make sure he got his due.
