02 - DSCN4664 - 8000mm on tripod

I took a slew of photos today of yesterday's turtle location but using a tripod with my P900. This is all out digital zoom at 8,000mm equivalent... not cropped but is "out of camera" sized to 8 by 10. All of the various zooms look much better with the tripod use.

Wow - noticeably better! I wonder if the light was also less harsh on this second day? Same metering and other settings, and still no EC, yet not the blown highlights of the day before. A better exposure and sharper as well, which is not surprising. :)
