I love the wood on your Thompson in the "Range layout", "C Drum", and "Purple" pictures, could you tell me who made the wood or who/how was the wood stained for that color/effect? Thanks!

Is this the Chris Anderson that Bill Holmes caved with? I am his daughter, Denette Holmes. Bill lives in PA now and is always asking about his caving buddies. I would like to tell him about contacting you.

Hi:
I got a link to your cave photos from Alan Goldstein, a geologist/rockhound I'm acquainted with. My favorite picture, though, is the "We Rob Banks!" photo. The antique fully automatic Thompson is a beautiful example of workmanship! As are your photos.

I don't know about pushing through a semi-flooded squeeze, with a rainy forecast, though... even with a wonderful and secret cave beyond it!

By chance i came upon your site as my impulsive g/f had just told me she won a bid on e-bay for a camera, an Olympus 720sw. A purchase for her yearly gold dredging adventure, (3rd year) in Northern California. Don't ask. You asked, 10 days...her share about a 0.10 grams worth. With all that said I found your photographs visually stimulating and your commentary very informative. Your nature photos are great, I am truely jealous. So once again thank you for sharing your work and if you care to view my work you may find me at flicker angeldaddy4u , Larry A

You are simply amazing, I never saw such beautiful photographs, nature and antiques, plus pictures of you and your family. You are an incredible human being. I'll bet your parents are proud of you and love you very much!

I saw your comment about using Rain-X on the cover glass of the Olympus 720 SW to deal with the lens shutter water swipe problem and was wondering if you would mind telling me what you mean (my email address is rwa@georgetown.edu). I called Rain-X, and they recommneded against applying their product to a camera lens because of possible smugging. Did you have any image problems after you applied Rain-X? You put it on the lens itself, right?

Thanks in advance,

Richard
