Wide open on the A900, 35mm focal length on the vintage 2004 Konica Minolta 28-75mm D zoom, f2.8; hand held at 1/20th, SS on; centre focus on the back of the sofa; raw ISO 200 ACR processing with no sharpening, no NR, and no CA control, no vignette control, no defringeing - but lots of highlight recovery and a black point adjustment to zero to open up the shadows.
100 per cent viewfinder composition exactly as shown with the panelling on the walls just inside the frame. I was not dead straight to the subject, though I quickly used the floor board as a reference for placing myself. A very quick snap - while I was taking it, someone said 'sofa shot for Alamy then David?'... it was at a seminar with professional photographers, they know how stock shooters think!
