Occasionally during the Stowe car show they display unusual cars on
the awards platform, interviewing the owner or restorer. The 1924
Moon was one of the cars featured this year.

The owner of the Moon was from Canada and spoke only French. They
had two announcers providing the questions and answers, one who
spoke English and the other who spoke French and English who
provided the translation.

The final question of the presentation was
“Was the Moon always painted this color?”

The translated answer was
“No, it was originally blue.”

The English speaking announcer's reaction,
displaying an example of dry Yankee wit, was
“So you drove once in a Blue Moon!”.
