I have thousands of shells collected during our "Bimini" days, and have begun a project to photograph and ID them. These are examples of my attempts to capture the amazing architecture and awesome beauty that these shells represent to me. The shells range in size from 1/8" to 9". I have experimented with different backgrounds and lighting.

You did a great job on these. I think I'm a little partial to the ones with the natural lighting, but there are some good shots in the other catagories too! Lots of work and patience but it is certainly worth it! Great idea using the sand, looks like you are right out on the beach!!
