These are my experiments with the CirKal technique and the order in which the action and plugin is applied. They were created using images in my galleries, the titles should give a hint at the processing steps for each image.
Quick instructions:
A) Crop out a square portion of an image. [note: tested this, and rectangles will work, edited 1/13/08]
B) Adjust image, flatten, duplicate layer
C)"Cir" or C = [make duplicated layer active] 1) Filter >Distort >Polar Coordinates >polar to rectangular. 2) Edit >Transform >rotate 180. 3) Filter >Distort >Polar Coordinates >rectangular to polar.
D)"Kal" or K = Kaleidoscope plug-in from http://www.mehdiplugins.com
E) Images coded KC RP only use K and Step 3) of D.

Original image thumbnails have been added to the caption on the 1st image of the same name in the series. There are 192 CirKals and 67 original images in the subgalleries.
