Foça is a small harbour and fishing town (with lots of tourists mixed in nowadays) within easy reach from Izmir. It was founded 600 years BC, as Phocaea. The weather was splendid when I arrived but things clouded over after a while. Returning to Izmir I found it had been raining there most of the day, so I was better off.
