Ramazanoğlu Konağı (Mansion). It dates from 1495, was built by Ramazanoğlu Halil Bey, and has a “selamlik” where government affairs were held and a “haremlik” where the family lived. A funny thing happened when during my tour of the building we ran into a woman who showed some friends around. She knew the building from her youth, when her grandmother lived there. She explained how several things had been changed during the restoration, so now windows were doors and similar faults. I don’t have a clue who might be right, she or the restoration architects.
