I mislaid some notes that I hope I will find later. So for the time being all I can write is that this particular museum is the most peculiar one I ever visited. In a dilapidated old house a self-confessed maniacal collector presents the results of his search for money in many forms, be it coins, be it paper. Presentation is awkward, with coins sealed in plastic hanging in strings from the ceiling, the setting is awkward, yet I enjoyed my stay and being shown around. The director / owner told me (in Dutch, he lived in my home country) enthusiastically how he researched about the items, had his research checked by professionals, and wished he had some more funds to present and keep them better. Children seemed to enjoy this strange place a lot, he had many visitors. He also showed me aspects of this old house, indicating points of interest like hand-made elements in furniture and the architecture. The museum is quite close to a "kitchen museum" I did not visit and near the citadel.
