Nice catch. That being said, I can't stand mourning doves. They are mean to the other birds on my feeders, pecking at them and chasing them off. They are definitely NOT peaceful!

Terrific shot of him, Dale. They have such pretty coloring, and I love hearing them coo. We have a pair or two that come to eat under our feeders, but they frighten VERY easily so are hard to get good shots of.
